Hi, my name is Alex (he/him), I’m interested in computers, music, sound, user interaction and creativity, both on their own and any of them combined.

I recently completed a coding retreat at the Recurse Center in Brooklyn, New York, and finished the Master in Sound and Music Computing from the Music Technology Group (MTG) at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF).

I hold a Bachelor in Informatics Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). During my studies, I majored in computer science and spent a year abroad at the Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan (KTH) in Stockholm.

In the past, I’ve worked in both software and firmware engineering roles for companies like Dolby, Verse (sold to Block in 2020), Akiles and Latitude.

I perform and release music under 3D Shape and I’m a member of Gamelan Barasvara, the only active Balinese gamelan ensemble in Spain.
